Temperatures will likely be in the 60s but could vary quite a bit. Check for weather in Davis, WV and plan on the mountaintop (ceremony location) being up to 10º cooler than what is predicted for the town of Davis.

The reception will be indoors/outdoors and temps could be in the 50s by the end of the evening.

In case of bad weather, the ceremony and reception will be indoors with no trip to the mountaintop.

We just want you to come and enjoy! But for those who would like a little more direction, go for “upscale casual.” Most guys will probably be in shirt and tie, or shirt and sport coat, or just button-down shirt. Gals can wear whatever it is that gals wear. (We’re guys, what do we know? 🤷‍♂️) Although we do recommend no heels due to the short nature walk to the ceremony location.

When planning your travel time to Timberline Mountain, please keep in mind that the activities surrounding Leaf Peepers Weekend could cause delays traveling through the towns of Davis and Thomas.

Also note that the chairlift will stop running at 3:45. There will be no access to the ceremony location after 3:45.

We were originally hoping to provide a shuttle from the hotels to the venue. Unfortunately, that wasn’t available so please plan on your own transportation.
